Pump.fun launched Pre-IPO tokens, new tokens can be paired with OpenAI and others
Pump.fun posted on X platform stating that Pre-IPO tokens supported by PreStocks have been launched on Pump.fun, allowing users to trade Pre-IPO tokens of unlisted companies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Anduril, Neuralink, Figure AI, Kalshi, Polymarket, and Oura, and also issue new tokens paired with these tokens. PreStocks is a Pre-IPO tokenization platform on the Solana blockchain. Previously, Pump.fun had launched the custom trading pair feature on October 9, enabling new tokens to be paired with tokens already issued on the platform.
Pump.fun adding tradable Pre-IPO tokens via PreStocks broadens its platform from memecoins to tokenized private equity, creating a new on-chain trading use case. That raises activity and demand expectations for Pump.fun issuance features and Solana blockspace. Direction is clear but no capital flow evidence yet, so Solana/Pump.fun short-term bullish (medium).
