If you are wondering whether MetaMask can transfer between accounts and how to transfer NFTs between wallets, this article is for you. Today we will talk about Transfer between accounts. Let's take a look and learn more about those.
Can MetaMask Transfer between accounts?
For this question, the answer is yes.
I will show you an example with Binance to Metamask
- Log in to your MetaMask account.
- Link your MetaMask wallet to your Binance account.
- Go to the Fiat and Spot section of your Binance account to start your withdrawal/transfer process.
- Depending on your MetaMask wallet and the coins you want to transfer, if you have multiple addresses, choose the wallet of the relevant blockchain. Since MetaMask is primarily an Ethereum-based wallet, it is likely to be the Ethereum (ERC20) network.
- Don't choose the wrong network. This may cause the transfer to fail and you may lose your cryptocurrency.
- Fill in your MetaMask wallet address in the "Address" section.
- Enter the amount you want to transfer to your MetaMask wallet before selecting the Withdraw button to transfer.
How to transfer NFTs between wallets?
For this tutorial, we will show you by using MetaMask wallet:
Receive NFT
When you buy an NFT, it is usually automatically transferred to you through the marketplace. If this is not the case, follow and double-check these steps to make sure it's a successful transaction:
- Provide the sender with your public address. If you need it, learn how to find it here
- Make sure you have enough network native tokens (ETH, MATIC, BNB, etc.) to pay for gas
- Have senders send NFTs to your public address
- Add NFTs to your MetaMask wallet. We recommend that you do this on a mobile device, as NFTs are currently not visible on Extensions.
As long as you view the correct account and wallet in MetaMask, the NFT should appear under "Collection" in MetaMask Mobile.
Send NFT
Sending NFTs in MetaMask (ERC-721 tokens; ERC-1155, another token standard for NFTs that don't yet support transfers) versus sending traditional tokens (usually ERC-20 tokens, often simply called coins) ) very similar or encrypted). Currently, this feature can only be tried in MetaMask Mobile.
- Make sure you have enough network native tokens to cover transaction fees
- Click on the "NFT" tab
- Click the icon of the NFT you want to send
- Click the "Send" button at the bottom of the screen
- Enter the address you want to send to, click "Next" and follow the standard transaction prompts
I hope you will understand whether MetaMask can transfer between accounts and how to transfer NFTs between wallets. Many platforms exist for buying and selling NFTs, and often ERC-721 tokens: Nifty's, OpenSea, Rarible, YellowHeart, and more.
