If you are reading this, you must wanna know about either how to buy eth on MetaMask or just how to buy crypto on MetaMask. Then you are at the right place. In this article, you will find out how to buy ether on MetaMask in 2022. Let’s move on to the main points.

Through what are frequently referred to as "on-ramps," you can add cryptocurrency directly to your MetaMask wallet without ever leaving the application. In addition to providing a non-custodial wallet for your Ethereum-based assets, MetaMask also gives you access to thousands of decentralized applications. So how to buy ETH on MetaMask? First of all, …

Download MetaMask

To download MetaMask, go to the MetaMask website, Google Play, or the App Store. In the URL box of your browser, insert MetaMask.io if you're downloading from the MetaMask website.

And then, download and set up the application. Create a wallet import from your seed phrase (which, if you followed our advice, is stored in your password manager, on a piece of paper hidden away, or even on a Seed Wallet). Your ERC-20 and ERC 721 token balance will be visible once you log in.

The Ethereum Main Network, which is used by the majority of applications, will automatically be the default home screen. You can select from the Ropsten Test Network, Kovan Test Network, Rinkeby Test Network, and Goerli Test Network under "Wallet," as well.

With the help of these test networks, developers may more easily test their applications or even their finished goods. Consider this to be pretend money. Get test tokens from a "faucet" to try it out. For this experiment, we'll stick with the Ethereum Main Network, which handles the vast majority of transactions on the cryptocurrency.

How to buy ETH with fiat

So let’s get into the main part: how to buy ETH (with fiat). The quickest method is to click "Buy ETH" on your wallet's main screen. Visit the wallet homepage. Tap Buy ETH. You can buy ETH with a credit card, a bank transfer, or Apple Pay (US only). MetaMask Mobile uses Transak to convert fiat money into ETH.

Your account's balance in MetaMask should update a few minutes after the transaction has been "mined" on the Ethereum blockchain and has been processed. By clicking the pop-up link, you may view the status of your transactions on a block explorer like Etherscan.

You now have gas to support Ethereum transactions after having ETH in your wallet, which you may use to exchange for other Ethereum-based tokens or purchase NFTs.

Getting ETH from a different wallet

Now that you know how to buy ETH on MetaMask, why not explore how to receive ETH from other wallets? With the use of MetaMask, sending ETH, stablecoins, ERC-20 tokens, or even an NFT, to another person's MetaMask wallet is simple.

Open MetaMask. Choosing "add funds." The other party could scan the displayed QR code to send you ETH or an ERC-20/721 token immediately. On the other hand, you might copy your address and text or Airdrop it to them. To copy your address, click the account name.

Put your address in the application's "receiver" section. This is where you will send your ETH or tokens.

Important Tips

If you've forgotten your seed phrase, transfer your tokens as soon as possible to a new wallet with a fresh one. Someone may reload your MetaMask account using the seed phrase they discovered on a napkin they discovered in your junk drawer, sending all of your money to their wallet. For technical reasons, you cannot reset your seed phrase.

No test network will see the tokens stored in your Ethereum Main Network wallet. On test networks, nothing but (worthless) test net tokens will be seen. Don't panic if you can't find your ERC-20 tokens in your wallet. Verify that you are connected to the Ethereum Main Network. Those are some important things you need to know while buying ETH on MetaMask in 2022.
