An egift card is an electronic gift card that has a predetermined amount of money placed onto it. The virtual card's balance can be used by the recipient to make purchases at the merchant that issues the card. They can use the money on the e-gift card to purchase the things of their choice. Learn how to buy PayPal gift card in this article.

Gift cards in plenty are one of the apparent advantages of the holiday season. Because the balance on prepaid gift cards supplied by credit card issuers may be applied to almost anything, including your PayPal account, they make excellent presents.

How To Buy PayPal Gift Card

1. On a desktop computer, access your PayPal Wallet.

Click "Link a debit or credit card" in step two.

3. If offered the option to link a card manually or through a bank, select "Link a card manually."

4. Type the gift card details.

5. Select "Link Card"

Because gift cards lack personal identifiers, unlike conventionally issued credit cards, you might occasionally encounter a problem when attempting to add a gift card as a payment method to your PayPal account.

If you encounter problems of this nature, register your gift card. You should find instructions for doing so on the card, which should lead you to a website for registration.

There are alternative ways to convert gift cards that aren't from credit cards for cash in your PayPal account, but doing so comes at a high cost — typically at least 10% of the gift card's value.

You can use prepaid gift cards with the Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, or Discover® brand anywhere in the United States where PayPal is accepted. Please be aware that merchant-specific gift cards, which lack the Visa®, MasterCard® , American Express®, or Discover® logos, are not covered by this.

Prepaid gift cards can be used at checkout for PayPal members by simply adding them to your wallet and using them like any other credit or debit card. Users who do not have a PayPal account can just submit their card details during checkout, just as they would with a credit card or debit card. So, this is how to buy PayPal gift card easily.
