The SHIBA Inu Ecosystem includes LEASH token as a key component. The token got the moniker "DOGE Killer" as a result of its great popularity. Remember that SHIB aims to be DOGE's equivalent but is built on Ethereum and is also the second-largest crypto-coin named after a dog? (the first one being DOGE, of course). So, how to buy SHIBA LEASH?

Let's start at the beginning to grasp the story. SHIB, a cryptocurrency token like many others on the market, was established in August 2020 as a direct rival to DOGE, which had gained some traction at the time.

With SHIB's growing popularity, they introduced its own cryptocurrency exchange (ShibaSWAP), which uses three of their own native tokens: SHIB, LEASH, and BONE. Users can therefore utilize these three tokens on the market to engage in activities (such as trading, swapping, etc.).

ShibaSwap gained popularity in part due to how easy it was for people to use. They could exchange, swap, stake, and link to decentralized wallets like Metamask, which made it easier for them to buy NFTs and other digital assets.

Shiba Inu leash

After it was de-leashed, the LEASH token's primary function is to reward liquidity providers.

For instance, you earn xLEASH tokens when you buy LEASH tokens (exchange them with the other tokens), bury them, or stake them. You become a member of the xLEASH liquidity pools by holding these tokens.

You get 0.5% of the BONE tokens that are added to the blockchain when you join the pool. Remember that BONE is a component of the Shiba Inu Ecosystem as well.

Be aware that the rewards for the liquidity providers come not only in the form of LEASH but also in SHIB and BONE, giving each of them more relevance and use cases.

Additionally, if you help the LEASH tokens trade, you'll get a piece of the LEASH/ETH ShibaSwap Liquidity Pool.

Purchasing SHIBA LEASH

Through the SHIBASWAP exchange, LEASH is bought. SHIBA LEASH, however, is also available on Uniswap and other CEXs. However, it is always advised to purchase from the DEX as it enables the full functionality of all associated tokens and offers rewards.

Metamask wallet creation

Either the Metamask software or the browser extension on your PC will let you create it. Like any other cryptocurrency site, signing up is a simple and uncomplicated process. You will receive LEASH on your Metamask wallet, and you can sell LEASH there as well.

ETH to Metamask Wallet transfer

If you already have Ethereum held on exchanges like Binance or Coinbase, you can move it to your wallet using Metamask. Use the ERC-20 Network when exchanging ETH (because LEASH is built on ERC-20)

Link ShibaSwap and Metamask together

After creating your account on the Shibaswap exchange, select Metamask by clicking on "link to a wallet."

Replace ETH with LEASH

You can exchange the ETH for LEASH tokens as soon as it becomes accessible on Shibaswap (or even the other tokens of the Shiba Inu Ecosystem). Once you have the LEASH, the Metamask wallet will also reflect that.

You now have all the information you required about LEASH. Explore the token's whitepaper, ecosystem, and related information. Do keep in mind the risks involved with investing in LEASH; it is incredibly volatile, just like any other cryptocurrency coin.
