NFTs or non-fungible tokens are unique data stored on the blockchain. If you are thinking to create and sell NFT this article is for you. Today we will talk about where to create and sell NFT and how much does it cost to create 10000 NFTs . Let's find out by reading the article.

Where to create and sell NFTs?

High-profile sales by artists such as Beeple attracted many artists to learn how to make and sell NFTs, and Beeple sold his The First 5000 Days NFT for $69 million. Such eye-popping numbers represent a tiny fraction of NFT sales. Most NFT artwork sells for the same price you would expect other premium artwork to sell for. One big difference is that NFTs allow digital artists to receive royalties on all future sales each time the NFT changes hands — which can be encoded into the original smart contract.

Here are the steps by steps process to create and sell NFTs:

The first thing you need to do to make and sell an NFT is to "mint" your NFT (we assume you already own the artwork you want to become an NFT). To make an NFT for your artwork, you need to choose an NFT platform and a payment wallet - the latter will be required to pay the former, and any payments will be required if you are lucky enough to sell your NFT.

We will use Rarible as our NFT platform and MetaMask as our payment method.

Step 1: Choose a digital wallet

To make and sell NFTs, you need cryptocurrency. Most NFT auction platforms will require you to pay up front to “mint” the NFT, the process of turning your artwork into a non-fungible token that you can sell. The cryptocurrency ether (abbreviated to ETH) is the most commonly accepted method of payment, as it is the native cryptocurrency of the open-source blockchain platform Ethereum, where NFTs were first introduced.

Step 2: Set up a digital wallet to pay for your NFTs

To create a digital wallet to be able to pay NFT platforms to make and sell NFTs, you need to visit MetaMask's website and click the blue "Download" button in the upper right corner. Since we're on a desktop computer, we'll choose the option to install a browser extension, but there's also a mobile app.

Step 3: Add cryptocurrencies to your wallet

After setting up your MetaMask wallet or any digital wallet, you need to add some ETH to it. If you don't already have some ETH, you need to buy some now, so click the "Buy" button and select the "Buy ETH" with Wyre" option.

Step 4: Connect your wallet to the NFT platform

Most digital wallets work in a similar way. Whichever you choose, you will need to connect it to the NFT platform you will be using to sell your NFTs. For illustration purposes, we use Rarible, but there are many other NFT platforms to choose from , and the process is generally similar to the one we outline below.

Visit Rarible. In the upper right corner of the screen, there is a button that says "Connect Wallet". Click there and on the next screen you will be asked for your wallet provider, in our case MetaMask. A popup will give you the option to connect your wallet with Rarible. Click "Next", then "Connect" to accept the terms of service and confirm that you are 13 or older.

Step 5: Upload the file you want to turn into an NFT

So now that you have a wallet connected to ETH for payments, you are ready to make and sell NFTs. On the Rarible website, click the blue "Create" button in the upper right corner. You can then choose to create a single one- off piece, or sell the same item multiple times. In this example, we will choose "Single". Now you need to upload the digital file you want to make into the NFT. Rarible accepts PNG, GIF, WEBP, MP4, and MP3 files up to 30MB in size.

Step 6: Set up auctions for your NFTs

In the next section of the form, you need to choose how to sell your NFT artwork. There are three options. "Fixed Price" allows you to set a price and sell your NFT instantly (similar to the "Buy Now" option on eBay ). The "Unlimited Auction" option will allow people to keep bidding until you accept. Finally, a "timed auction" is an auction that only lasts a certain amount of time. Here are the options we'll choose as an example. This leads us to the trickiest part: choosing the lowest price. Sell your NFTs too cheaply, and huge fees can eat into your profits and may even cost you out of pocket. We set the price at an ambitious 1 ETH (currently $4,700) and gave people 7 days to bid.

Next, you can select "Unlock After Purchase". This gives you the opportunity to provide your final buyer with a full high-resolution version of the artwork and/or other materials via a secret web page or download link. Below is the most confusing option, titled "Select Favorites." This is a very technical question about how to build a blockchain. The default option here is "Rare", and we recommend keeping it that way.

Step 7: Add a description to sell your NFT

You can now add a title and description to your listing. To maximize the chances of your NFT selling, you should take some time to think about this. You will then be asked to consider the percentage of royalties you would like to claim when resale of your artwork in the future.

Step 8: Pay listing fees to sell your NFT

The final step in learning where to create and sell NFTs is to click on "Create Project" and you will be invited to connect your wallet to pay the listing fee. If you don't have enough funds in your wallet, don't worry : you don't have to start over. Just click on the wallet icon in the upper right corner of the screen and you will have the option to add funds directly in Rarible.

How much does it cost to create 10000 NFTs?

To avoid expensive gas costs, advanced NFT minting technology defers these costs until the moment of sale. Instead of paying a minting fee, the buyer pays additional gas to create the initial NFT record. This type of lazy minting lowers the barrier to entry for NFT creators. However, this strategy also has some drawbacks. In practice, it's easier to use responsive Dapps and get up to speed quickly.

The cost of minting an NFT can range from about $1 to over $1,000. The cost to mint 10,000 NFTs can be as low as $5,000 to as high as $1 million, depending on the blockchain. The cost of minting a single NFT can range from $1 to over $1,000, so it is important to understand the cost of a particular blockchain. Before getting started, it's worth keeping an eye on the cost.

I hope this article will help you to learn whare to create and sell NFT and how much does it cost to create 10000 NFT. Any type of digital file can be stored as an NFT. Most markets were set up for digital artwork, but more markets now support video, game assets, and music. Even physical items are now digitized as NFTs
