Will Kasta go up? Is Kasta a good investment?

Kasta is a crypto payment platform built on the Polygon blockchain by a team based in Stockholm, Sweden. In December 2021, Kasta raised $6.5m and subsequently launched its native cryptocurrency, the KASTA token.

Still in its development phase, Kasta wants to “make payments easy” by allowing users to send and receive cryptocurrency quickly and cheaply through its app. Kasta was co-founded by Carl Roegind, Sebastian Appelberg, Carl Runefelt and Hans-H Lusmägi.

Although Kasta is still a work in progress, you might be wondering how it is shaping up as an investment opportunity. What is the Kasta price prediction for 2022 and beyond? What is Kasta (KASTA) looking like as a long-term investment? Will Kasta go up? Is Kasta a good investment?

We will explore these questions in this article.

KASTAnomics: Key figures

There is a maximum supply of 1.5 billion KASTA tokens, of which 37.5 million (2.5%) were put into circulation at the token generation event (TGE) in December 2021. The allocation, as seen below, was split among a diverse set of stakeholders, including private and seed investors, the development team, advisers, marketing and ecosystem wallets and centralised exchanges (CEXs).

Barring the CEX and public allocations, all tokens are subject to vesting periods ranging between 17 months and five years.

Valued at about $0.06999 apiece at the time of writing on 8 August 2022, KASTA’s market capitalisation is $24m, of which 2.3% ($560,000) in trading volume was recently observed over a 24-hour period.

KASTA is not yet listed on any of the major exchanges, but can be purchased on Bybit, Quickswap, MEXC and Global Gate.io at the moment.

KASTA utility: A deeper look

In Kasta’s words: “KASTA is the cryptocurrency token that offers a wide range of applications and benefits within the Kasta ecosystem… KASTA will play an important role in Kasta’s growth and making our mission to steer the world towards worldwide cryptocurrency adoption a reality.”

When the platform goes live, KASTA will be the method of payment for exchange fees. The more KASTA you own, the lower these fees will be. Reduced interest rates will also be available for the “buy now, pay later” option.

Kasta also intends to introduce decentralised finance (DeFi) options, including a yield multiplier for staked KASTA tokens.

Early-stage price predictions

Since Kasta is a fresh project, any KASTA price prediction estimates should be taken with a pinch of salt. The following targets could be a useful guide, but any investment decision should rely on a far more in-depth due diligence exercise.

The average Kasta price prediction targets at PricePrediction include $0.083 by the end of 2022 and $0.26 by the end of 2025. The Kasta price prediction for 2030 suggest an average price of $1.79 in December.

DigitalCoinPrice gives a Kasta price prediction of $0.10 for September 2022, representing an upswing of over 45%. The site also forecasts the price to rise to $0.13 by 2025 and $0.32 by 2030, according to forecasters.

The Kasta coin price prediction targets at CoinArbitrageBot are $0.22 for 2022, $0.40 for 2023 and $0.64 for 2024, while the site also makes a Kasta price prediction for 2025 of $1.04.

Are there any red flags?

The development team was forced late last year to respond to criticisms over its tokenomics, specifically in relation to the tiny public allocation of 2.5%.

In a blog post, Kasta said: “The allocation of 2.5% does not mean this is the only percentage of $KASTA tokens that the public will have access to. Over time, as more tokens from different allocations get released onto the market, availability increases.

“That being said, we have also ensured that the public allocation has no vesting period: All of these tokens will thus be unlocked and enter the ecosystem immediately at TGE, which is something that the other allocation groups cannot benefit from.”

However, Kasta’s team is fully doxxed, and it has a clear roadmap and a highly professional website. Its mission statement is clear and it has strong professional backing. In the fourth quarter of 2021, Kasta’s smart contracts were audited by Zokyo.

If you are considering an investment, you should come to your own conclusion regarding the project’s long-term viability and a realistic KASTA price prediction. Be sure to read all available documentation and seek out independent, third-party advice before laying down your money.

Hope this article can provide you with a better understanding about Kasta crypto.
