Coinbase Launches 21 Products at Once, Including Bitcoin-Backed Mortgages and AI Advisor

The product list includes tokenized U.S. stocks for non-U.S. customers launching next month, backed 1:1 by the underlying asset with full shareholder rights, dividend payouts, and the ability to lend shares for yield or use them as collateral. U.S. customers are excluded per regulatory disclosures.

Traders can now access Pre-IPO perpetual futures starting with SpaceX, with Anthropic and OpenAI listed as coming soon. These instruments give market participants early price exposure to private companies before any public listing.

The company launched Coinbase Advisor, described as one of the first SEC-registered, AI-powered in-app investment advisors. It is registered as both a Commodity Trading Advisor with the NFA and a Registered Investment Advisor with the SEC. The tool is rolling out first to Coinbase One members in the U.S. and is designed to handle tax-loss harvesting, trade recommendations, and multi-asset analysis.

Coinbase for Agents lets users deploy AI agents to execute trading strategies around the clock. Agents operate inside isolated sub-accounts with defined capital limits and asset permissions. Coinbase is also partnering with AWS to bring its x402 agentic payments standard to enterprise scale. The x402 standard has processed more than 100 million transactions to date.

A new Base Privacy Platform provides a compliant privacy infrastructure for enterprise onchain transactions. The B20 token standard, going live this week as part of the Base Beryl chain upgrade, adds built-in compliance policies and payment reconciliation directly at the chain level.
