Enjinstarter's AYA platform has secured a provisional license from Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) to offer crypto asset services, marking a significant step forward in the company's regulatory compliance.
On December 11, Enjinstarter, the Dubai-based arm of a Web3 Launchpad and consulting firm, attained a cryptocurrency license, although its operational commencement is contingent upon fulfilling specific conditions set by VARA. The platform will need to satisfy all VARA requirements for verification and approval before initiating services. The official announcement details:
"The license is currently in a non-operational status, pending the company's fulfillment of remaining conditions and compliance with localization prerequisites as outlined by VARA." Enjinstarter has yet to respond to inquirie. However, Prakash Somosundram, Enjinstarter and AYA Foundation's co-founder and CEO, emphasized the company's commitment to adhere to VARA's outlined procedures.
AYA, a startup platform with a focus on environmental sustainability, supports innovative projects centered around climate initiatives such as reforestation, nature credits, mangrove conservation, and sustainable agriculture. Besides acting as a financing platform for eco-friendly endeavors, AYA contributes to climate action projects utilizing blockchain and Web3 infrastructure.
