In a tweet, ZachXBT cited his earlier complaints about the Boneheads team 's disappearance and alleged misuse of funds. The lawsuit allegations that the Boneheads team failed to fulfill its roadmap commitments, including airdrops, tokens, physical collectibles, market access, and other promises made to purchasers of Boneheads NFTs. ZachXBT's investigative work, which uncovered the alleged misappropriation of funds and the key individuals behind the project, has been referenced in the lawsuit. His findings highlighted the team's inactivity and the discrepancies between their actions and the promised roadmap.
The Boneheads team responded to ZachXBT's initial post, claiming that Boneheads was not a scam but rather a "deliberately slow creative process."
