CORE miners can anticipate the upcoming airdrop with the latest update.
After the successful mainnet launch, Core DAO updated the community with more information about the upcoming airdrop. Details on the airdrop distribution and eligibility are available in the latest update published by the decentralized organization on Medium. Core DAO also shared an update on Twitter on Jan 15.
According to the publication, the Core network users will get airdrop 525,600,000 CORE tokens, representing 25.029% of the total CORE supply. Additionally, eligible users who earn in-app rewards on the Satoshi App are eligible for airdrops.
The airdrop would vest. At the beginning of the airdrop there will only be airdropped 25% of the core tokens and the remaining percent would be unlocked monthly within two years. The protocol said that the users cannot interact with locked tokens.
Going forward, eligible users of the Satoshi App will receive instructions on how to receive CORE airdrops within the app.
