Alex Lab was established in early 2021, the testnet was launched in October 2021, and the mainnet was launched in January 2022. Alex Lab aims at the Bitcoin economy. When DeFi can be implemented on Bitcoin, we believe that the scale of the Bitcoin DeFi (or BitFi) economy can be twice that of the Ethereum DeFi economy. What Bitcoin needs is a smart contract layer to allow the construction of these Bitcoin-secured DeFi protocols. The Stacks blockchain is such a smart contract layer, we are the largest DeFi on Stacks with more than half of the TVL and the largest transaction volume. We have cooperated with the Stacks Foundation and continue to integrate with Bitcoin. On the basis of ensuring the security of Bitcoin, we are committed to bringing users a better experience.
