$BTCs (BTCS) is an asset in BRC20 format. BRC-20 represents an innovative token standard introduced on the Bitcoin network and was conceptualized in March 2023 by a mysterious developer named Domo. BRC-20 draws inspiration from Ethereum’s famous ERC-20 token, bringing its own unique features and mechanisms. Unlike the Ethereum version, BRC-20 does not support smart contracts, instead focusing on providing a way to create and trade fungible tokens within the Bitcoin ecosystem.
