About Casper Network

Casper is a real-time POS public chain based on the Casper CBC specification designed by Ethereum developers. The goal is to be an AWS-like (Amazon Cloud Computing)-like open infrastructure that provides developers and entrepreneurs with a platform to run applications, data, and contracts at will. Casper relies on the token CSPR to reward validators who participate in the PoS consensus mechanism to protect and maintain the network, while using CSPR as a payment for the network fees for operations on the Casper chain.
