Doge Protocol is an upcoming community-run quantum-resistant blockchain project with proof-of-stake consensus and is under active development. The important goal of this project is to secure the three largest blockchains (BTC, ETH, Doge) from quantum computer threats.
Doge Protocol will be a unique, industry-first multi-fork of Bitcoin, Ethereum, DogeCoin Blockchains and Doge Protocol tokens, to become the "Largest Block chain in the World", added with "icing on the cake" of Quantum Resistance. Doge Protocol will use NIST approved cryptography schemes for securing accounts and to secure inter-node communications.
The initial version of the Testnet will use Falcon as the quantum resistant cryptographic scheme, with the ability to switch algorithms when NIST approves a quantum resistant scheme for blockchains later. Doge Protocol Blockchain's mainnet is slated for launch at the latter half of 2022 and is under active development.
Doge Protocol was fairly launched with no prior allocation for team or community members, with 100% of liquidity added to the open market during launch. The DogeP ERC20 tokens can be converted to quantum-resistant blockchain coins, post mainnet. The liquidity of the ERC20 swap tokens is locked till the year 2050 in UniCrypt.
