MegaCoin, the Chinese name is US Card Coin, abbreviated as MEC, is an electronic currency developed on the basis of Bitcoin. Published in May 2013. Although MEC is developed on the basis of the Bitcoin client, the algorithm uses scrypt to eliminate ASIC mining. The total currency limit of USDC is 42 million, and a block is generated every 2.5 minutes. In the first 21,000 blocks (about 36 days), the reward for each block is 500 MEC, and in the next 21,000 blocks, the output will drop to 250 MEC, and so on. 21000 blocks, the block reward will drop to 125, 75, 50 (the decline will gradually slow down). And when the block reward drops below 25, the output is halved every 420,000 blocks, and it lasts forever. Currently, on the cryptsy trading platform, the trading price of each coin is about 0.00007 coins. The output formula of USCcoin is different from that of most coins. Since the output of USCcoin has dropped by half every 36 days in the first half year, with the rapid decline of mining output, the output of USDC has dropped by half every 36 days. The price of BTC will also increase to some extent (because miners will be more reluctant to sell).
