Neon is the Ethereum virtual machine on Solana, compatible with EVM, allowing developers to use Ethereum tools to build and deploy decentralized applications (dApp) on Solana. This is the first time Solana has integrated with the EVM ecosystem, meaning its users and developers can take advantage of Ethereum's rich ecosystem and expand on Solana. On November 9, 2021, Neon announced that it had received US$40 million in investment from Jump Capital, Three Arrows Capital and other institutions at a valuation of US$250 million; on June 9, 2023, Neon was publicly raised on the Conlist platform, with a sales supply of 50,000,000 NEON, accounting for 5% of the total circulation, is priced at US$0.1, and a total of US$5 million has been raised.
