Trump has released an “exclusive” collection of 45,000 NFTs on his new website, Donald Trump Digital Trading Card Collection. They are minted on Polygon and can be purchased using traditional fiat currencies or with Ether (ETH) cryptocurrency.
How much is a Trump NFT?
Trump said that the price of $99 represented a good value when they first went on sale.
The moment purchasers attempt to acquire a Trump NFT on the official website, a pop-up advertisement promising a guaranteed seat at an upcoming gala event attended by the former President appears.
However, in order to claim this prize, you would have to place a single order for 45 NFTs at a cost of $4,455.
What do the Trump NFT trading cards look like?
All of the pictures that have been made available to the public so far feature the former President and are framed like baseball cards. These, however, feature the 45th President of the United States in a range of bizarre poses, unlike other collectible trading cards.
In one he is pictured riding an elephant; another sees him dressed as an astronaut in aviator sunglasses; while one shows him ripping open his suit and firing lasers from his eyes. Something for everyone.
Quite how successful this Donald Trump digital trading card collection actually prove to be, remains to be seen.
