The recent FTX crash had a huge negative impact on the crypto market. So today we will discuss how high can Ethereum go realistically and why did Ethereum price crash recently. Let’s find out by reading the article below.

How high can Ethereum go realistically?

No one can tell now. Despite some optimism among forecasting sites, it's important to remember that price forecasts are often wrong, and that prices can and do go up as well as down. In the volatile cryptocurrency market, it's important to do your own research on a coin or token to see if it's a good fit for your portfolio. Whether ETH is a suitable investment for you depends on factors such as your risk tolerance and how much you intend to invest. If ethereum and cryptocurrencies in general can survive the scandal in 2022, the price of ethereum could double at some point in the next few years. Overall, however, the outlook for Ethereum and cryptocurrencies is very murky and you will find price predictions that vary widely. There is no clear catalyst for Ethereum to take off and start moving higher. However, if global central banks continue to tighten monetary policy, it would indeed be negative for risk appetite. Declining risk appetite also has a lot of downside when it comes to Ethereum, Bitcoin, and cryptocurrencies.

Why did Ethereum price crash recently?

The entire market crashed after FTX crashed. When a crypto-related company goes bankrupt, its users and consumers often lose a lot of money. This made them lose confidence in the crypto industry, liquidating all remaining crypto wallets. The same thing happened across the industry, a lot of liquidations started happening, a snowball effect. Ethereum price established an uptrend, taking its price back from a low of $1,000 to a high of $1,600. When the FTX crash happened, ETH crashed and dropped to a low of $1,100.

I hope this article will help you to learn how high can Ethereum go realistically and why did Ethereum price crash recently. Remember that past performance is no guarantee of future returns, never invest any money you can't afford to lose.
