You'll need to verify your account first in order to use Binance. In this article, we will discuss, "How Long Does Binance Verification Take? How To Check Account Verification Status?"

How Long Does Binance Verification Take?

The length of your Binance verification depends on your KYC type and country of residence. And once you create a Binance account, you can begin the verification process.

It can take two to ten days for the verification process to be finished and for you to get your Verified badge, according to Binance. However, if you choose a Verified Plus badge, which grants you extra transaction capabilities, it can take three to ten days. Verification for Binance Enterprise can take longer (between five and ten days).

Therefore, it sends you an email to let you know whether it accepted or rejected your verification credentials. And this usually comes with reason for you to take additional action. If it's less than ten days till the application deadline and your status hasn't been notified through email or your profile still says Under review, be patient; it's most likely on the way.

How To Check Account Verification Status?

By tapping your profile icon in the top-left corner of the Binance mobile app, you can quickly check the status of your verification. If the Binance verification fails, the app shows a Failed status (in red).

On the other hand, you'll get an email notification and a green Verified badge in your profile menu if you're verified. If you like, you can choose between Binance Lite and Pro.

Once you have undergone ID verification, crucial credentials, such as your withdrawal bank account information, cannot be changed. The specifics of any withdrawal method you add must coincide with those that are currently present in your account.

Global financial authorities have put laws and rules into place that increase financial security and lessen unlawful activity. These are commonly referred to as KYC and AML clauses. One way exchanges can adhere to these laws and regulations is by making ID verification a required

Most cryptocurrency trading platforms employ ID verification as a motivator to unlock bigger trading limits. Even with the most minimal identification verification, it is still possible to transact on Binance, but most features are restricted. For instance, unverified accounts (those with) basic level have a $300 lifetime fiat withdrawal cap as well as a daily value withdrawal cap of less than 2 BTC. Those trading limits are raised to $50K per day and $500K per month once the account has undergone Intermediate level (ID) verification, and crypto Withdrawals up to 100 BTC per day are enabled. The final stage of verification, advanced level (Address) verification, raises the trading limits to $200K/day and $2M/month.
