Will the Shiba Inu Community take the reigns soon? The Shiba Inu community will hopefully one day take further and full control over the entire SHIB ecosystem, according to its project lead Shytoshi Kusama.
Shytoshi Kusama on the Shiba Inu Community
When asked what’s next on the Shiba Inu roadmapafter the metaverse, game, fashion, and food, Shytoshi replied “Community.”
“The’s the final industry,” he said. “Combining it all so the community takes the reins and we get to go on a much-needed vacation, as the community gets to build on the foundations we've built.”
Shytoshi further expanded on this in a later comment. “The community has a simple pipeline, and set of incredible technologies to build upon,” he said. Shytoshi also said this would move the ecosystem to the next level.
While Shiba Inu itself is already a decentralized project, a core group of individuals and developers are at the heart of many major initiatives within the ecosystem, with the majority of the community’s backing.
The Shiba Inu community itself already partakes in many development projects for SHIB. Several third-party projects are planning integrations with Shibarium, potentially bolstered by the Shibarium Hackathonrewards. Others are creating experiences they hope to host on the Shiba Inu metaverse.
Alongside this, the community support and development for SHIB burnsalso remains strong. Indeed, it was the SHIB community that pushed harder for burns, directly leading to the creation of the Burn Portal.
