Musk is the CEO of Tesla, the world's most valuable automaker. The Austin, Texas-based company sells electric vehicles and home solar cells. Today we will discuss what is Elon Musk Net worth and how much money does Elon Musk make a day. If you want to know that, let’s take a look at the article below.

What is Elon Musk Net worth?

Stock market woes have dented Elon Musk's massive fortune since early 2022, but he still tops the list of the richest people.

Elon Musk's wealth has grown from nearly $20 billion in 2019 to a whopping $251 billion in 2022. As announced Thursday, the 51-year-old from Pretoria, South Africa, has added Twitter to his portfolio.

Elon Musk is a billionaire just nine years after he entered the elite club in 2012. Much of his wealth comes from his holdings in electric car company Tesla, where he is CEO. Musk has dabbled in many projects in his career so far, ranging from online payment systems, artificial intelligence, above-ground and underground transportation to outer space. His musings can send the value of him and other companies, as well as the value of cryptocurrencies, soaring or plummeting.

How much money does Elon Musk make a day?

Since Elon Musk's fortune is tied to Wall Street's Tesla stock, his income has skyrocketed as the number of Teslas has grown. Back in January, his net worth jumped a staggering $33.8 billion in just one day, thanks to a rally in Tesla stock.

His net worth in 2022 is calculated to be around $273 billion. That means he makes an average of $432 million a day!

How Much Does Elon Musk Lose per Day?

When analyzing Musk's wealth and income, we also need to look at his downfall. So, how much does Elon Musk lose every day? His most recent fortune fell in January. Surprisingly, it has something to do with politics.

Musk took to social media to criticize President Joe Biden after being snubbed at a White House seminar on electric vehicles. Tesla shares fell 11% after announcing a record profit, according to Forbes, shaving $24.5 billion off Musk's worth. While Musk holds the record for the highest earnings and financial jump, he also holds the record for the largest loss in just two days. Tesla shares fell for two days in a row, costing Elon Musk $50 billion. It was the worst two-day drop in the history of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index and the biggest one-day drop since Bezos lost $36 billion in 2019.

He also had a loss with SpaceX that cost him roughly $20 million, a setback for Musk's plans for innovative internet infrastructure and a mark on SpaceX's otherwise spotless record. The incident occurred in early February when Musk's Starlink launched into Earth's upper atmosphere and 40 of the 49 satellites were destroyed by the storm.

Although SpaceX has not disclosed the cost of its Starlink satellites, some analysts estimate the cost of each module to be between $250,000 and $500,000, meaning 40 satellites would cost around $20 million. Yet despite the heavy losses, he remains the richest man in the world, and his company continues to thrive.

I hope this article will help you to understand what is Elon Musk Net worth and how much money does Elon Musk make a day. Elon Musk's daily life is largely work-based. Although sources say he reads two books a day, we can't be sure because his work takes up the most time.
