The GOAT Network, the first Bitcoin-native ZK-Rollup Layer 2, is introducing scalability to BTC DeFi with its $GOATED token. With a fixed supply of one billion tokens, the project has carefully structured its token economics to balance rewards, governance, and long-term sustainability. A key question for many early adopters is how much of the supply is allocated for airdrops and community rewards.

What is the total supply and allocation of GOATED?

$GOATED has a maximum supply of one billion tokens. The distribution is designed to reward ecosystem participants and maintain balanced incentives:

40% is allocated to the Ecosystem Mining Rewards Pool, incentivizing sequencers, ZK proof verifiers, and network contributors.

23% is reserved for the team, advisors, and future employees, with a 12-month cliff and 18-month vesting.

15.58% is allocated to early supporters and investors, also with vesting requirements.

15% goes to the On-Chain Treasury, managed through governance.

7% is set aside for airdrops and community incentives.

How much of GOATED is used for airdrops?

The airdrop and community incentive pool represents 7% of the total supply, equal to 70 million $GOATED tokens. These tokens are used to reward early participants, including users of the One Piece point program and other adoption initiatives.

What was unlocked at the Token Generation Event?

At the TGE, around 10.43% of the total supply was released, placing approximately 104.3 million tokens into circulation. This initial supply ensures liquidity and accessibility while maintaining long-term token distribution schedules.

What is the utility of the GOATED token?

$GOATED is more than just a reward token—it underpins the GOAT Network. Its uses include:

Staking to earn enhanced Bitcoin-denominated yields.

Governance, giving holders control over treasury decisions and protocol upgrades.

Incentivizing network operators securing the rollup.

What is the latest news on GOATED?

In late 2025, the GOAT Network completed its Token Generation Event and listed $GOATED on major exchanges. This milestone positions it as a strong competitor in the growing Bitcoin Layer 2 ecosystem.

Conclusion

GOATED tokenomics are designed to balance ecosystem incentives with community rewards. With 7% of its supply—70 million tokens—dedicated to airdrops, the project rewards early adopters while maintaining a structure that supports long-term growth. As the first Bitcoin-native ZK-Rollup, the GOAT Network and its $GOATED token could play a defining role in the future of BTC DeFi.
