DeGods is an assortment of 10,000 NFTs that was initially developed on the Solana blockchain. Traditionally, the majority of highly sought-after non-fungible token (NFT) collections have been introduced on the Ethereum blockchain.

What Is The Difference Between Dead Gods And DeGods?

DeadGods were introduced as the second iteration of the DeGods collection after developers recognized that certain original DeGods NFTs lacked popularity due to perceived unattractive artwork. The art of the original collection was reimagined, and holders of DeGod NFTs were given the opportunity to claim or transcend a Dead God using DUST.

While the DeadGods collection incorporates new art into the metadata of the NFTs, it is important to note that it does not create entirely new NFTs. Consequently, each NFT encompasses two distinct pieces of art—DeGod and DeadGod—allowing holders to freely switch between them based on their preference.

DeGods, initially credited to a developer known as Frank (@frankdegods) on social media, was launched in October 2021. It was later revealed that Frank's true identity is Rohun Vora, who had previously pursued studies at UCLA and later became a f Ellow at the Y Combinator startup accelerator.

In addition to being the creator of DeGods, Vora is also a co-founder of DeLabs, the company responsible for managing the DeGods and Y00ts (DeGod's sister collection) brands. Alongside this, Vora is involved with Dust Labs, a Software-as- a-Service (SaaS) company aimed at developing products for other NFT projects. Dust Labs is co-founded and led by serial entrepreneur Kevin Henrikson, known within the community as "Kevin DeGod."

What Is DeGods Floor Right Now?

The DEGODS collection consists of NFTs. The current minimum price for DEGODS tokens stands at $15,898.10. Within the past 24 hours, there has been a sales volume of 342.25 ETH. Presently, there are 8,797 minted NFTs, held by 2 ,088 unique owners, resulting in a total market capitalization of $139,855,576.

Summary

DeGods is a collection of 10,000 NFTs built on Solana. Owners can stake their NFTs to earn rewards, claim DeadGods, and contribute to the DeGod decentralized autonomous organization.
