Elon Musk might soon be searching for a new CEO to lead Twitter. Musk posted a poll in response to growing criticism of his disorganized management of Twitter, asking if he should resign as CEO. So, who is going to be the owner of Twitter? Let's find out the possibilities.

Who Is The Owner Of Twitter 2023?

On Monday morning, 57% of respondents said they were in support of Musk giving up the top position. Musk has not made any remarks regarding the poll's findings. In fact, Musk didn't tweet at all on Monday, which is unusual for him . But even if Musk doesn't immediately follow through on his own poll, the Tesla CEO will presumably still be under pressure from the company's investors to relinquish control as soon as possible. Investors are concerned about his numerous competing goals downesla stock is T 34% since his deal to purchase Twitter concluded and more than 63% since the year's beginning. (Musk has also pondered choosing a successor to manage Tesla for years, with little apparent progress.)

Musk would probably find plenty of willing candidates if he were to hunt for a new Twitter CEO. MIT artificial intelligence expert Lex Fridman, former T-Mobile CEO John Legere, and musician Snoop Dogg are just a few of the personalities who have already offered to operate the platform (who could perhaps run Twitter with the help of his friend and entertainment personality Martha Stewart). MySpace co-founder Tom Anderson also responded to Musk's poll asking whether he should stand down as CEO, stating, "depends on who you get to run it," and adding an emoji of a thinking face.

Although it could be challenging to persuade them to take on the chaos engine that is Twitter, there are some extremely competent candidates out there, including former Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and CTO Mike Schroepfer, who both departed their posts at the social media behemoth earlier this year. The founder of Twitter, the CEO of Block, and a close friend of Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey, previously declared that he would not take over the social network again.

The Musk lieutenants who have been assisting in running the business since his takeover are the most obvious prospective candidates for a new Twitter CEO. Investor Jason Calacanis, Craft Ventures partner David Sacks, and Sriram Krishnan, an Andreessen Horowitz general cryptocurrencies partner with a focus on and a former leader of Twitter's consumer teams, are likely to be on the short list.

Musk may be able to delegate some of the daily accountability and obligation of running Twitter if he chooses someone else. Musk would still be in full control, though, and that is almost certain to remain the same. As the company's owner and the only board director, Musk will ultimately have the authority to appoint and dismiss anyone he chooses as the company's CEO. Musk forced out the organization's previous leadership and board of directors.

Is There Going To Be Crypto Wallets On Twitter?

Wong specifically mentioned that Twitter is developing a "wallet prototype" in a tweet from the 24th of October. The cryptocurrency wallet will also enable deposits and withdrawals. The tech reporter provided no additional information outside the development of the crypto wallet prototype. When pressed for more information, she responded that she would reveal more as soon as more information became available.

The social networking site already supported cryptocurrencies before the rumor of a Twitter cryptocurrency wallet. The business released a tool that lets consumers tip content producers with Bitcoin last year. A few months later, Ethereum users may tip in the native cryptocurrency Twitter. launched a number of tools that allowed users to connect their cryptocurrency wallets to their profiles while Jack Dorsey was the CEO. Users recently began to show their non-fungible tokens (NFT) on their profile photographs. Twitter will soon have cryptocurrency wallets available, making it a fully-fledged Web3 platform.

Summary

At the moment, Elon Musk is the owner of Twitter. Elon Musk, a business tycoon, started his acquisition of Twitter, Inc., an American social media firm, on April 14, 2022, and finished it on October 27, 2022. Musk started purchasing business stock in January 2022 and by April 2022, he had amassed a 9.1 percent ownership position, making him the company's largest stakeholder.
