Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit will be looking to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to provide users with a host of new trading tools and indicators through an integration with ChatGPT.
Many industries already use OpenAI's acclaimed large-scale language model chatbots to deliver innovative solutions and services. The cryptocurrency trading space could also benefit from the service, as Bybit showcased its artificial intelligence product to cryptocurrency Traders using the Dubai exchange. Bybit's ToolsGPT combines ChatGPT's machine learning technology with the exchange's market data to provide technical analysis, price data and indicators. The integration also allows ToolsGPT to generate customized answers to traders' queries.
The exchange touts new products that provide insights and forecasts for various cryptocurrency trading scenarios. ToolsGPT will be able to analyze price trends based on market data for multiple cryptocurrencies. According to Bybit, this includes providing price trends for a lar ge number of tokens and considering technical indicators to predict future market movements. The service is designed to cater to traders of different experience levels and is free to all exchange users. A statement from Bybit CEO Ben Zhou highlighted the integration of ChatGPT as an innovative move to help traders make informed de decisions based on historical and real-time market data as well as AI-generated recommendations:
“By integrating ChatGPT into Bybit Tools, we are able to provide our users with more comprehensive information when making decisions. ToolsGPT is a testament to our commitment to providing traders with advanced tools and insights.” Bybit isn't the only cryptocurrency exchange exploring the use of ChatGPT to provide users with unique insights into token prices, market movements, and projects.
Crypto.com launched its own ChatGPT-based user assistant called Amy in May 2023. Binance has also integrated OpenAI's chatbot into its Binance Academy platform to generate responses from its database of articles and information about the wider Web3 ecosystem. OKX is another exchange exploring the potential of AI after integrating EndoTech's AI tools to analyze market fluctuations and trading opportunities.
Solana Labs also launched a plugin powered by ChatGPT that allows large language models to check wallet balances, transfer Solana native tokens, and trade non-fungible tokens.
