One of the most popular supermarket birthday cakes ever is Colin the caterpillar. That is, until Aldi showed up with Colin's long-lost cousin Cuthbert.
M&S decided that Cuthbert was too similar to Colin. They consequently lodged an intellectual property claim in the high court last year. The supermarket giant has three trademarks relating to the Colin Caterpillar cake. M&S warned Aldi to immediately remove of Cuthbert.
The claim has a lot on the line for M&S. Although Aldi would like a slice of that cake knowing that 15 million Colin sponges have been sold throughout the years, they didn't win this one. Aldi eventually decided to change Cuthbert in order to calm Colin.
The matter has now been resolved after Aldi and M&S shaken hands over the agreement.
A group of developers decided to create a new memecoin to honor the feud and the cake of everyone's childhood.
Carlossy Caterpillar
For those who love caterpillar cakes, there is a brand-new memecoin called Carlossy Caterpillar (CARL). The creators hope that the token will follow in the footsteps of dogecoin/">Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB). Dogecoin provided as many new users ' entry cryptocurrency. Elon Musk even became an enthusiast for DOGE, accepting it as payment for some products in his companies.
CARL is aimed at those who followed the cake dispute and want to imitate DOGE. CARL is promoted as an easy - to - understand and easy-to-use crypto.
People who own the token, according to the company, will be introduced to the broader crypto world.
CARL will be available to purchase across a range of decentralised exchanges this month, before launching across other centralised exchanges. The Carlossy Caterpillar token has a 1 billion token supply total.
The company say that they will be “leveraging the attention people give to memes and making use of it to build up the blockchain ecosystem.”
The Binance Smart Chain will run the Carlossy Caterpillar. The coins will be used for trading, staking, and purchasing.
Will it grow to be a great memecoin? Or plunge into the shitcoin world? I suppose all we can do is watch this space.
