On August 18, ETHereum core developer Tim Beiko stated on his social platform that the preparations for the Ethereum mainnet merger have been completed.
The ETHereum Foundation issued a document stating that the Ethereum mainnet merger target date is September 15, 2022, but this estimate has at most a week of error. Final tweaks will be made during the core developer conference call on August 18.
