Cryptocompare, a research institution, said on Thursday that due to the recent rebound in cryptocurrency prices, the trading volume of cryptocurrency derivatives on the centralized trading platform (CEX) increased to US $3.12 trillion in July, an increase of 13% month on month. The trading volume of derivatives market accounted for 69% of the total crypto trading volume, up from 66% in June.
In addition, in July, the spot trading volume of cryptocurrency fell to US $1.39 trillion, down 1.3% month on month, the lowest level since December 2020.
