Bruce Lee Estate has partnered with NFT-powered video platform Shibuya to release a series of NFTs commemorating the late kung fu fighter and movie star Bruce Lee.
Release plans were announced on April 11, when Lee's Twitter account, run by his family, shared an old video clip of Lee turning him into an animated version of himself.
These NFTs started at 0.008 ETH ($15) and 13,907 were minted in the first 24 hours, totaling more than $205,000, according to their smart contract addresses on Etherscan.
The NFT was drawn by artist Emily "pplpleasr" Yang and designed by Bruce Lee's daughter Shannon Lee.
Although it is an "open edition" collectible, collectors can only mint up to 100 NFTs.
