Two tokens, Moons and Brick, which were created by users of the social media platform Reddit, have seen significant price increases of 48% and 443%, respectively, in the past week after being listed on the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken.
Kraken announced on August 7 that it had listed Moons (MOON) and Brick (BRICK) for both spot trading and perpetual futures. At the moment, users can only deposit these tokens through the Arbitrum Nova network.

These tokens can be redeemed for special memberships and unlock features within the r/FortNiteBR subreddit.
Presently, MOON boasts a fully diluted market capitalization of $44.3 million, while BRICK's fully diluted market cap stands at $17 million. The r/CryptoCurrency subreddit has around 6.6 million members, while r/FortNiteBR has approximately 2.7 million members.
Reddit has been implementing a cryptocurrency as part of its Reddit Community Points program since 2021, aiming to incentivize content creation. When users trade community tokens for rewards, Reddit covers the gas fees required for the transaction. Token holders also gain the ability to take part in governance proposals that introduce new functionalities to the token.
