OpenAI, the organization behind the AI tool ChatGPT, has introduced ChatGPT Enterprise, a version of its chatbots tailored for business use, boasting improved speed, security, and capability.
In an announcement on August 28, OpenAI detailed that ChatGPT Enterprise provides unhindered access to GPT-4, offering double the performance speed and the ability to process input context windows of up to 32,000 tokens. Since each token corresponds to around four English characters, the The 32,000-token model can handle approximately 24,000 words of text in a single input, a significant enhancement over standard GPT-4.
ChatGPT Enterprise also advances privacy and security features beyond GPT-4. Unlike its predecessor, it does not employ corporate data for training its models. Additionally, it is compliant with SOC 2 standards, which pertain to customer data management.
OpenAI noted that the release of the enterprise version was driven by "unprecedented demand" for the ChatGPT product since its launch on November 30. Over 80 percent of Fortune 500 companies have adopted the AI tool in various capacities. The tool has proven valuable in tasks such as enhancing communication clarity, expediting coding tasks, finding answers to intricate business queries, supporting creative endeavors, and more.
OpenAI is concurrently working on a self-service business solution that will enable ChatGPT to tap into a company's own data, extending its knowledge and capabilities. As the realm of artificial intelligence continues to evolve, cryptocurrency firms are utilizing AI for diverse purposes, ranging from addressing environmental concerns to enhancing transparency in industries like music and safeguarding data privacy on blockchain networks.
