In a blog post on July 6, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, announced that the team would be holding discussions and potentially releasing the highly anticipated Tier 2 Shibarium during the Blockchain Futurists Conference, ETHToronto, and ETHWomen Hackathon in August 2023. Kusama highlighted the significance of these events as they coincided with Shiba Inu's third anniversary and take place in the birthplace of Ethereum.
As the title sponsor of the Blockchain Futurist Conference, Shiba Inu Ecosystem will play a prominent role. Kusama will also make an appearance through artificial intelligence technology and speak at a conference held on the day of Shibarium's launch. The conference will feature the unveiling of the "world paper" of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, the announcement of new projects, and the introduction of details about the Treat token.
During the Blockchain Futurists conference, Shibarium will host a months-long hackathon. The event will showcase two booths dedicated to Shibarium and various Shiba Inu-themed products, platforms, and services, such as Shib the Metaverse, Shibacals, Shiba Eternity, Shiboshis, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness presentations from partners like Unification and BadIdea.Ai, as well as new projects utilizing Shibarium Tech.
Within the Shiba Inu community, different tokens have specific roles. Shiba Inu token governs the entire community, Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) supports and manages the technical aspects of Shibarium, Doge Killer (Leash) tokens are responsible for community protection and exclusability, and treat tokens govern community projects.
The Shiba Inu ecosystem will establish the Doggy DAO and Shib Doggy DAO Foundation to manage the community and execute the decisions of the decentralized autonomous organization. Governance will be divided into four parts, with each core token in the Shiba Inu ecosystem having an equal voice to ensure community members' participation and influence.
The Shiba Inu community responded with enthusiasm to the news, expressing their anticipation for the development and their satisfaction with the progress made so far.
