Sony Network Communications, a technology provider within the Sony Group, has partnered with Polkadot's innovation hub, Astar Network, to launch the Web3 Incubation Program.
Those who wish to join can apply until March 6, 2023.
The program will run from mid-March to mid-June, as people can apply between February 17 and March 6. Partner will review the query and approve 10-15 users. Sony Network and Astar Network will also launch a Web3 event in partnership with Startale Labs, focusing on the utility of DAOs and NFTs.
Sony Networks has already begun exploring the blockchain space, with the hope that a partnership will enable them to provide consumers with applicable Web3 solutions. Astar Network CEO Sota Watanabe said he was “delighted” to be part of the initiative with a company that has extensive experience in the NFT space.
The Web3 Incubation Program is open to people from all regions of the world. It will launch educational courses with venture capital firms such as Fenbushi Capital, Dragonfly, Alchemy Ventures, etc.
Sony Network and Astar Network will provide necessary technical support, resources and financial assistance to all project members. They will also ensure direct contact and feedback with "world-class Web3 companies".
