For the six-month period ending June 30, 2022, Tesla recorded a $170 million Bitcoin impairment loss. In the first half of 2022, Tesla made a profit of US$64 million in some bitcoin-to-fiat foreign exchange. For the three and six months ended June 30, 2021, Tesla took a Bitcoin impairment loss of $23 million and $50 million, respectively. As of June 30, 2022, the fair market value of the remaining digital assets held by Tesla was $222 million.
