Kabosu, the Shiba Inu behind Dogecoin (DOGE) and the “doge” meme, is in a “dangerous situation” when it comes to her health, according to her owner.
In an Instagram post on Twitter on Dec. 26, Japanese kindergarten teacher and Kabosu owner Atsuko Satō said the rescue dog was in "dangerous" condition but assured her followers that she would be "absolutely fine" and received "responsibility from supporters." There get strength from all over the world".
The news brought with it an outpouring of support. One Twitter user who sent his well wishes offered to pay in full "anything necessary to ensure she gets the best possible care".
We wish Kabosu speedy recovery from her illness. Despite being created as a joke, Dogecoin is still hugely popular in the crypto world nearly 10 years after it was first created.
