A toy whistle based on Tesla's Cybertruck design has been revealed as the company's newest offering. The whistle costs 1,000 Dogecoins at retail, but the restricted supply is already gone. It's possible that the whistle is also a not-so-subtle jab at Twitter. So if you want to know what Elon Musk’s Cyberwhistle is, please continue reading this.
With the release of a limited-edition Tesla Cyberwhistle, Elon Musk has encouraged his Twitter followers to "blow the whistle." Customers must be willing to pay 1,000 Dogecoin (DOGE) for the toy in order to purchase it.
The Tesla Cybertruck's angular appearance is carried over into the Cyberwhistle, which is built of "medical-grade stainless steel," but which arguably outperforms it by doing away with its one major weak point—the windows.
The Tesla Cyberwhistle was instantly available for purchase by anyone with the cryptocurrency, in contrast to the twice-delayed Cybertruck.
The Tesla Cyberwhistle retails for more than $60 in old people's money at a price point of 1,000 Dogecoins, and DOGE is now trading at $0.060225.
Given that the whistles are already listed on the company website as "out of stock," Tesla aficionados appear to be more than happy with the price.
Holders of doges hear the whistle
The release of the Cyberwhistle coincides with the beginning of a significant legal case in Musk's life. The billionaire businessman successfully offered $44 billion for Twitter earlier this year, but he eventually backed out of the agreement alleging a number of problems and disclosure breaches.
Fast turnaround
The question now may be how Tesla managed to develop, produce, manufacture, and launch a whistle with its own accompanying display box in just three weeks given that the firm is famously hesitant to introduce new product lines.
Ironically, Musk hasn't said anything about memecoin in the last 12 months. having been an enthusiastic DOGE commentator in 2021. Prior to Musk's appearance on Saturday Night Live in May 2021, the cryptocurrency surged to its all-time high of $0.73. The coin, though, has been steadily losing value since since, reaching a low of $0.055 in June 2022.
