On August 24th, the ETHereum Layer 2 expansion solution zkSync issued a document saying that there are still 66 days before the zkSync 2.0 mainnet release, and dynamic fees will be implemented on August 30th. The developer redeploys the contract. zkSync said the update is only applicable to the zkSync 2.0 testnet and will not affect zkSync 1.0.
Previously, on August 17, zkSync announced that it would introduce a new gas fee model to enable a dynamic fee mechanism. The new fee model will price fees based on the resources consumed by the transaction, and rename the unit of measure "gas" to "ergs". Additionally, the new fee model will support EIP-1559.
