PROM is the native functional token within the Prometeus network and has the following use cases:
Network consensus: After Prometeus launches the mainnet, users need to stake PROM tokens to run their Nodes within the Proof of Stake Authorization (PoSA) network participate in network consensus and receive PROM token rewards.
Fees Payment: PROM tokens are also used to pay service fees based on Prometeus applications. Currently available applications include Stoa (a decentralized data sales platform) and Ignite (a decentralized social network).
