STANDARD is a closed-loop monetary economy, whose core consists of four parts: the native currency $STANDARD, an ETH/$STANDARD liquidity market based on DEX v4, net ETH flow as the monetary policy signal, and a “central bank” composed of approximately 4,000 lines of immutable code. Its operating logic is akin to an automated central banking system. Users, acting as “bankers,” hold franchise rights, can operate bank branches, and receive $STANDARD issued by the central bank. Net ETH inflows into the market trigger an easing mechanism, increasing $STANDARD issuance while accumulating hard asset reserves such as tokenized gold; net ETH outflows trigger a tightening mechanism, repurchasing and burning $STANDARD, and providing pricing for market exits. The entire economic system is designed so that capital flows continuously strengthen the system's value: most capital paths either burn $STANDARD, add hard asset reserves to the central bank, or both, forming a closed-loop mechanism of “capital inflows expanding reserves, capital outflows contracting supply.”
