For its community, Louis Vuitton intends to introduce a new NFT collection. Leading global fashion company Louis Vuitton is introducing fresh non-fungible token incentives for Louis: The Game, its mobile app game. A raffle will be held for players who have a particular quantity of free in-game NFTs. Here is what you should know about the Louis Vuitton NFT Project.
Louis Vuitton NFT Project
In August 2021, the Louis Vuitton game was released. It centers on an avatar named Vivienne who roams the game collecting postcards that include details about Louis Vuitton. In addition to the NFT incentives, the company's game update also includes new objectives.
The NFTs were developed in conjunction with Beeple's firm, Wenew Labs, and were created using the Louis Vuitton Ethereum wallet. In case you weren't aware, Beeple is the most successful digital artist who sold the most expensive NFT ever in March 2021 for $69 million.
Given how many high-end and fashion companies are already utilizing NFT, Louis Vuitton's entry into this market is not unexpected. Similar to LV, Burberry also made an NFT character for Blankos Block Party, an online multiplayer game.
These companies hope to draw a younger audience with NFTs and other Web3 technology. Decentraland hosted the metaverse fashion week last month. It included several well-known labels, including Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Forever21.
Although these ideas have promise, the hoopla around them seems to outweigh the current level of public interest. Only half of the 7,100 teenagers surveyed in the US for a recent study by Piper Sandler expressed interest in the Metaverse. Furthermore, 26% of people have the VR equipment required to access the Metaverse.
However, many of these well-known firms don't seem to be discouraged by these figures. Louis: More than two million individuals have downloaded The Game, and more than seven million people have shopped at Nike's Roblox store.
