The Bitcoin blockchain was hard forked to produce BCH. This article will discuss, "BCH vs BTC: What is The Difference? What To Invest in?". Let's get started.

BCH vs BTC: What is The Difference? What To Invest in?

BCH (Bitcoin Cash) and BTC (Bitcoin) are both cryptocurrencies based on the same blockchain technology. However, they differ in terms of their block size, transaction speed, and governance.

Bitcoin Cash has a larger block size than Bitcoin, which allows for more transactions to be processed per second. This makes BCH transactions faster and cheaper than BTC transactions, especially during periods of high network congestion.

Bitcoin has a larger user base and market capitalization than Bitcoin Cash. Additionally, Bitcoin is considered by many to be the "digital gold" and is an ideal store of value while Bitcoin Cash aims to be a more useful payment currency.

Bitcoin Cash has its own development community, which focuses on improving transaction speeds and lowering fees. The Bitcoin Cash network forked from the original Bitcoin network in 2017 due to disagreements between the community regarding the block size lock limit of Bitcoin. At 1 MB, Bitcoin Cash increases the block size to 8 MB, allowing for more transactions to be processed per block. However, this also means that the Bitcoin Cash network requires more storage space, and nodes with low storage capabilities can have difficulty keeping up with the network.

Additionally, Bitcoin Cash has a less decentralized network compared to Bitcoin. It has fewer nodes and a smaller mining community which can lead to a greater risk of centralization. On the other hand, Bitcoin has a much larger and more decentralized network, which makes it more resistant to potential attacks and ensures a higher level of security. Despite their differences, both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash have their own unique characteristics and use cases, and it ultimately depends on the user's preference and needs to choose which one to invest in.

BCH vs BTC: What is The Difference? What To Invest in? - hopefully, this article can help you to get some knowledge.
