A well-known cryptocurrency wallet called MetaMask enables users to communicate with the Ethereum network. It is compatible with ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 Ethereum coins. So, today's focus is on how to add Matic Network to MetaMask.
How Do I Add Matic Network To Metamask?
The quickest and easiest method to add Polygon Network to MetaMask is through this process. This, however, is not applicable to the MetaMask mobile program.
Visit the Polygonscan page in step one.
Go to the webpage for Polygonscan.
Users of Polygonscan examine transactions, addresses, tokens, and other activities on the Polygon database.
Once there, scroll to the bottom of the Polygonscan page.
Click Add Polygon Network in step two.
The Add Polygon Network button can be found if you scroll to the bottom of the page.
Just click it.
Step 3: In MetaMask, click Approve.
You will receive a notification in your MetaMask wallet once you select the Add Polygon Network button.
That will be nothing more than a notification of acceptance.
Simply select Approve.
The name, URL, and chain ID for the Polygon network will be immediately imported into MetaMask after you click "Approve".
Additionally, the switch to Polygon's Mainnet will happen immediately.
If you run into any problems, you can attempt the manual approach described below.
Why Can't I Add Matic To Metamask?
The issue is that the Polygon network's web address, (url), does not allow Metamask to access your user information. Simply changing the "RCP" Matic network's url address will fix this issue.
The MetaMask currency can now support the Polygon network.
Navigate to Settings -> Networks -> Add Network in the MetaMask mobile software. Next, enter the information about the Polygon network.
Summary
You can now browse dApps and send and receive MATIC using your MetaMask wallet. And also, add Matic Network to MetaMask.
