Customers holding US dollars in their accounts, according to the loan company, can withdraw up to $100,000 in a 24-hour period with the money arriving in August 2022. So, how long does it take Voyager to process a withdrawal?
Due to losses from its exposure to Three Arrows Capital, which has also apparently been ordered dissolved by a British Virgin Islands court, Voyager said in June that it had gone into a $500 million credit agreement with trading firm Alameda Research. On July 5, the crypto lending business filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the Southern District Court of New York, claiming that the action was a part of a reorganization plan that would ultimately allow customers access to their accounts once more.
How and when can I withdraw on Voyager?
On Thursday, August 11th, they said they expect access to the Voyager app to resume for cash (US currency) withdrawals only. Prior to the release of the app's cash withdrawal functionality, customers having funds in their accounts will get an email with additional information.
After submitting their requests, consumers will receive their money in roughly 5–10 business days. Requests will be handled as rapidly as possible, but some manual inspection, such as fraud reviews and account reconciliation, may be necessary. The amount of time required will partly rely on the particular banks that clients move their money to.
Customers can request withdrawals of up to $100,000 by ACH within a 24-hour window once cash withdrawals are enabled.
