Six businesses were cofounded by Elon Musk, including the electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla, the rocket manufacturer SpaceX, and the company Boring Company. Hence, how much money does Elon Musk have? We will also talk about his interest in crypto.

How Much Money Does Elon Musk Have?

Between stock and options, he holds about 23% of Tesla, but he has pledged more than half of his stock as security for loans.

After a funding round in May 2022, SpaceX, which was established in 2002, will be valued at $127 billion, quadrupling in value in just three years.

In April 2022, Boring Company, which seeks to eliminate traffic, raised $675 million at a $5.7 billion value. The board of Twitter decided to sell the business to Musk in April 2022 for $44 billion after Musk revealed a 9.1% stake and threatened a host takeover. After Musk attempted to back out and Twitter filed a lawsuit, the deal was finalized in October 2022. Currently, Musk is thought to own 74% of the business.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter is second on the list of the richest people in the world behind LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault with a net value of $137 billion. However, Musk's net wealth peaked in November 2021 at $340 billion.

Does Elon Musk Do Crypto Currency?

Elon Musk openly supports cryptocurrencies. Before selling a lot of it, his business, Tesla, once had nearly $2 billion in bitcoin. He frequently talks about dogecoin as well.

Despite the fact that dogecoin was created in 2013 as a satirical commentary on cryptocurrencies, Musk has collaborated with the project's creators and finds the token to be "pretty cool." He even indicated that a Blue premium subscription could be purchased in doge when reports that he might purchase Twitter first broke.

Summary

How much money does Elon Musk have? Since Musk started formally acquiring Twitter and after he tweeted a photo of the Shiba Inu doge mascot wearing a Twitter shirt, Dogecoin's value has increased by twofold.
