Today, Musk is the richest person in the world, thanks in large part to his roughly 16% stake in Tesla, which as of August 2022 will be worth 10%, according to Bloomberg. $144 billion. So how much money does Elon Musk have right now and what crypto is Elon buying. If you want to know about Elon Networth, let's read the article below.

How much money does Elon Musk have right now?

Musk's business practices have been unconventional and sometimes controversial. In 2022, he agreed to buy social media company Twitter for $44 billion before backing out of the deal due to what some pundits said was a lack of credibility. The deal is currently in court, with a trial scheduled for October 2022.

According to Bloomberg, his net worth is estimated at $254 billion as of August 2022, making him the richest person in the world. He is nearly $90 billion ahead of second-placed Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Led four businesses: Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink and The Boring Company. Based on Elon Musk's net worth of $254 billion, we can calculate that he earns around $650 million per day. In other words, $81.25 million per hour.

Of course, Elon Musk didn't become a billionaire overnight. It took him years of hard work and dedication to get to where he is today - on top of the world. He started working on video games before eventually co-founding PayPal. He then went on to become CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.

Elon Musk and Cryptocurrency

Musk has also been a frequent commentator and supporter of cryptocurrencies through his tweets. In February 2021, Tesla announced that it had purchased $1.5 billion in bitcoin and planned to accept bitcoin as payment for its products and services. A few months later, Musk appeared on Saturday Night Live, where he called the cryptocurrency Dogecoin a "hustle." The coin fell 30% after Musk's comments and has fallen even more since.

Tesla stopped accepting bitcoin payments a few months after it started due to environmental concerns. Musk said in July 2021 that Tesla would “likely” accept bitcoin again once it becomes greener. In July 2022, Tesla said it had converted about 75% of its bitcoin holdings into fiat currency, despite touting bitcoin's long-term potential a year earlier.

What crypto is Elon buying?

“I will continue to support Dogecoin,” Musk, who revealed last year that he personally owns Dogecoin, Bitcoin and Ethereum, responded to a commenter on Twitter who told him to “keep buying” it, “I am”.

Musk's rocket company SpaceX is following his electric car company Tesla in adopting the Dogecoin payment method, allowing customers to use Dogecoin to buy goods.

"You've been very serious about supporting what I think is the right reason - you find it funny, you appreciate sarcasm and sarcasm, you think it has the potential to be a currency - your company accepts it as a commodity, gives it more utility," Dogecoin co-creator Billy Marcus, whom Musk believes is one of the reasons “people love Dogecoin,” responded to Musk's statement of support. As last year's huge bull run in bitcoin, ethereum and cryptocurrencies pushed prices to highs, Musk was selected as "Dogecoin CEO" and adopted the nickname "Dogecoin CEO" in a joking Twitter poll in 2019. The Godfather" - has repeatedly called on Dogecoin developers to upgrade the cryptocurrency to "beat Bitcoin".

I hope this article will help you to learn how much money does Elon Musk have right now and what crypto is Elon Buying. With all the leading cryptocurrencies taking a beating, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he will continue to support and buy Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency he has been vouching for for years.
