Regardless of the NFT value, transactions on the Ethereum network can quickly become too expensive because gas fees are always rising. Therefore, you probably want to know how to buy NFTs without gas fees. I hope this article can help you.

How To Buy NFTs Without Gas Fees

For thousands of NFT buyers and sellers, gas fees have created an impassable barrier. However, you can purchase and sell NFTs without paying Gas. This is how:

Use the Polygon chain!

A blockchain called Polygon uses Ethereum as its base currency but does not demand the payment of gas fees.

Can I buy NFTs on Polygon with my existing ETH?

Yes, but you'll have to pay for it. You must bridge the funds to Polygon if you have any ETH allocated to your OpenSea account.

Simply click the menu icon next to the ETH amount and select the second option from the dropdown.

The drawback is that because this is a transaction that runs on the Ethereum network technically, Gas Fees come into the equation and you'll lose some of your ETH to that conversion fee.

Instead of adding ETH to your OpenSea wallet, I would advise you to choose ETH - Ethereum (Polygon). You will pay the same amount for each ETH polygon because ETH is the currency, but there are no gas fees!

You can start looking for NFTs now that you have some ETH Polygon.

Just type in a keyword you're interested in, then click Polygon under Chains. You'll now only see NFTs available for purchase on the Polygon blockchain for no Gas Fee.

Hopefully, reading this article, "How To Buy NFTs Without Gas Fees: Best Way To Avoid High Gas Fees," can help you to understand it better.
