How To Know Which NFT To Buy? You may probably have no idea where to start or how to figure out what NFTs to invest in. In order to solve that problem, we will discuss the things you should know before investing in NFTs.

Things You Should Consider Before Deciding What NFTs To Invest In

When choosing the best NFT to buy for yourself and hold long term, it is crucial to watch these things:

Strong Founding Team

Some of the crucial skills that a project needs are social media marketing, brand management, community management/PR, blockchain development, and preferably an artist with a special flair.

It depends on who you ask, but some wildly successful ventures have terrible art. What makes for outstanding NFT art is not at issue; rather, what factors contribute to a project's success.

A freelancer was paid a one-time fee to execute the artwork for Bored Ape Yacht Club, which is currently the most well-known project ever. It is very simple for other talented artists to imitate a project once it has found success and developed a distinctive style and fills in the blanks.

Ideally, you'd also want the team to be fully doxxed, meaning that their identities are public. It's easier for anonymous teams to abandon a project if their personal reputations are not on the line. Teams that have been doxxed are more likely to survive in the long run.

Community Strength

Although a community is not necessary for every NFT project, it is a good sign of a successful one.

A huge audience can elevate a project's value proposition above that of a conventional marketing tool. Investors that own NFTs in a project have goals that are similar to the team's.

Belonging to a group with unique access privileges also fosters brand loyalty since people want to stay a part of an elite "club." Positive and inclusive societies usually perform well because they are fun to be in and foster a culture of reciprocal promotion.

We recommend you to spend at least a couple of hours in a project's Discord channel to gauge the responsiveness of the founding team as well as the activity of the community.

The Roadmap

Now, to be quite frank, you should always take these roadmaps with a grain of salt. As GaryVee has said on multiple occasions, roadmaps are nothing but a startup's pitch deck.

And a pitch deck is never a guarantee that something will actually happen, they are merely a promise at a point in time that a founding team plans to do something. So if someone asks what makes a good NFT project, the roadmap shouldn't be your first response.

Remember, you are buying into a vision and the likelihood of that materializing will largely depend on the ability of the founders to actually execute it.

The great majority of businesses fail, and NFT projects are no different. Having said that, a roadmap will show you what the project's final aim is, and it will help you decide if the project is right for you or not.

Media Exposure

PR is a marketing strategy that is remarkably underutilized. Due to the increased exposure, a project will almost certainly have a higher probability of success if it appears on the front page of major media outlets. This makes sense because brand recognition is developed as a res of media exposure, and brand recognition is by far the most crucial component of the project if the project's objective is to establish itself as a streetwear brand.

This also covers famous people who have acquired their own NFTs of the undertaking. Popular celebrities' exposure on social media is almost certain to improve the public impression of that project. In social media, social proof is a potent tool.

Utility

The term "utility" is becoming a more crucial component of many projects' roadmaps.

With increasing NFT prices many late investors obviously want to know how the team plans to bring additional value to its holders which will help increase the token's price.

There are roughly 2 different categories of utility that have emerged.

The first category involves some form of real-life utility, such as access to a conference, exclusive access to a high-end restaurant chain, or in its simplest form, access to merchandise.

The second category is entirely digital in nature and may include early access to content, play-to-earn blockchain games, or even revenue from the project's own ecosystem token. It may also involve access to specific Discord channels within the project.

Utility is undoubtedly one aspect of an excellent NFT project, in my opinion.

Price Endurance & Stability

Being a sign of long-term investors, a project with a track record of steady growth and few hype-driven swings is typically a superior investment.

Veefriends by GaryVee is a good example of such a venture. The majority of the time, many day traders who profit from price pumps and drops are the cause of large swings fueled by excitement. They seldom ever care whether a project will be successful in the long run. When a project has been around for a while, price history also plays a role.
