With Meta's NFT integration, users can share their digital collectibles and verify ownership whether they're creators or collectors. In this essay, we'll talk about. how to post your NFT on Instagram and Facebook.

How To Post Your NFT On Instagram

Checking for the "Digital Collectible" option is the easiest way to know if the feature is available to you. The Phantom wallet will soon be added to the list of third-party wallets that users can connect to, which currently includes Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, and Dapper Wallet. As of November 2022, it supports the blockchains Ethereum, Polygon, and Flow, with Solana shortly to follow. Now, Instagram will permit the display of digital collectibles with videos on its platform.

Users can connect their digital wallets to the platform by visiting the “Digital Collectible” menu. Once there, a notification will open on your screen taking you through the next steps of connecting to a wallet. You can also connect additional wallets to your account by clicking the “Add Wallet” button. Wallet connection is a one-time authentication, and Meta says it doesn’t “publicly surface” your wallet address.

Users can then view all of their NFTs and post them. Users can tap the plus sign at the top of their screen and then choose "Post," just like they would to share any other post on Instagram. Above your phone's library, a unique verified checkmark will show up, allowing you to choose any NFT in your wallet. Before sharing the selected NFT to your feed, you can give it a description.

You will be identified as the owner or creator of your digital collectible when you share it. Instagram verifies ownership of the collectible's blockchain address in order to verify ownership. Users can find your digital collectibles on the platform's Explore page, in-feed, and grid.

How To Post Your NFT On Facebook

Similar to connecting on Instagram, sharing digital collectibles to your Facebook feed is a similar approach. On the platform's desktop version, users should be able to find the digital collectibles option under their bookmarks.

To access your digital collectibles, you must connect your wallet.

The next step is to decide whatever digital collectible you want to post on your Facebook feed. Once you've made your selection, you can click "Share to feed," where you'll be given the option of making the in-feed post public or private to only a select number of your friends.

Then, before posting, you'll be asked to complete your post with more text, images, or other information. Once posted, the digital collectible will appear on your profile and main feed with the hexagonal "Digital Collectibles" badge.

Hopefully, reading this article, "How To Post Your NFT on Instagram and Facebook," can help you to understand it better.
