What Are Hashmasks? The largest NFT project on the Ethereum blockchain, HashMasks, sold its NFTs for more than $16 million the weekend it was launched. Let's explore more in this article.

What Are HashMasks?

HashMasks is a digital art collection that includes 16,384 unique works produced over the course of two years by 70 international artists. It was created on January 28, 2021, in Switzerland.

What Is The Name Change Token (NCT)?

The official HashMasks coin was launched by Suum Cuique Labs in Switzerland as the Name Change Token (NCT). By burning NCT tokens, holders of NCT are able to change the name of their NFT on the blockchain.

Hashmask NCT Token Price History

Over the past year, the NCT token's performance has been volatile, with an early surge followed by a drop, after which the token steadied. The project's enthusiasm caused the initial surge, and it's possible that a significant number of NCT that was airdropped to holders and sold for a profit caused the subsequent correction.

What Is The Future Of The HashMasks Project?

Although the HashMasks project's future is uncertain, analytics and metrics can show where the project is headed. On the HashMasks website, under "Analytics," we can browse important statistics like name changes and holder count.

The name change metric shows a leveling off of activity, however, this is probably because the majority of holders who desired to change their name already did over the last year. The holder count is one of the most bullish metrics on this project.

The amount of holders is increasing significantly as time goes on, which means fewer whales are hogging the supply and can suppress the price by selling their NFTs on the market. A project's distribution and price stability will be better if it has a large number of holders.

conclusion

The HashMasks NFT collection provides a unique blend of traditional and modern art, which is highlighted by dozens of different mask variations. The collection has many character traits and masks combinations.

With a growing number of holders and the fact that this collection maintained a high floor price for almost two years, the future of HashMasks is looking good. One of the interesting aspects of the initiative is the NCT utility token, which enables owners to give their NFTs a special name to make them rarer while also involving them in the effort by allowing them to personalize the collection.

Hopefully, reading this article, "What Are HashMasks? What Is The Future Of The HashMasks Project?" can help you to understand it better.
